By changing your gear ratio’s using Pinions, Spur Gears and Crown gears you can adjust the performance of your car to achieve high top speeds or high torque or a even middle, depending on track conditions and type you can set the ratio’s accordingly, example an 11t pinion and 23t crown gear will give you top speed for long high speed tracks and an 8t pinion and 30t crown gear will give you high torque best suited for rally tracks.
