The Corsair is considered one of the best fighters of the US Navy in World War 2. Feared by the Japanese adversary, nicknamed her Whispering Death, she fought in the Pacific theater of war from 1943 to 1945, achieving record-breaking success. The concentrated firepower of the Corsair consisted of six 12.7 mm Browning MGs.
